Well, after 9 very long months, it looks like it is finally time. Finley doesn't seem like he wants to come on his own terms, and mommy is tired of waiting. After a couple of weeks of checking, the Doctor says I still have not dilated or thinned any. So, tonight at 7:00 I will be induced and the wait begins. I cannot express all the emotions that are running through me. I am not even sure which emotion is more dominate than the next. I am happy, excited, anxious, nervous and scared. After everything I went through with Jaelyn, fear, unfortunately still exists. My sweet baby boy, your daddy and I are so ready to meet you and help raise you into the man you will one day become. You have so many people here waiting on you and who are ready to spoil you and love you. Finley, I love you to the moon and back and will do my best to show you that love everyday of your life.
We have been working on Finley's room for a while now. Daddy says that no baby has ever had a room like yours. He says "who else has a TV mounted on the wall before they are even born." hahaha. (That's more for mommy than Finley. For those late night feedings.) People at work tease me and say, what if he grows up and doesn't even like basketball. Well, if you don't that is fine, but I pray that you follow in our footsteps and love sports as much as we do. It was really fun putting your room together. It was made just for you.
